| |
| Dale Jr is the third generation of Martins to carry on the family tradition at Martin Bros., following his father Dale Sr, his uncle Derek, Grandfather Benjamin and Great Uncle Harry in the funeral profession. Dale Jr began funeral service with his father in September of 1978 after graduating Brentwood College School at Mill Bay, BC on Vancouver Island. Dale attended the University of Lethbridge, studying for his Bachelors in Management Arts and working nights at the funeral home.
In 1991, he married Colleen and together they have raised their two boys Will and Jack. Colleen's roots are in Vancouver where she grew up. Dale and Colleen often make the trek to Vancouver to keep in touch with family and their West Coast friends.
On October 16, 1992, Martin Bros. opened the new Riverview Chapel, which is the current location for Martin Bros. Over the past many years we have expanded to Coaldale (The Coaldale Funeral Home) and developed what is now called The Caring Group Corp. which includes a group of eight funeral homes located in various locations throughout western Canada.
Dale continues with his passion in the funeral profession, carrying on a strong sense of duty and stewardship within the profession, serving those in need. |
