| MR. KENNETH “KEN” MICHAEL MUELLER beloved husband of the late Elda Mueller, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the age of 91 years. They had been married 67 years before Mom passed away July 2, 2008.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Molly (Dale) Hollihan; grandchildren Joan Hollihan and David (Sandy) Hollihan; great-grandchildren Jordan Mae and Jeremy McKenzie; sisters Grace Nelson, Irene (Dave) Walker, Joyce Andreachuk, Ruth (Laurie) Belcher; brother George (Selma) Mueller; sisters-in-law Vi Mueller and Dorothy Mueller; brother-in-law Roy (Carol) Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his loving wife Elda; Dad was predeceased by his son Dickie; brothers Oscar, Lloyd, Ray (Vivian), Rome (Kay, Leona); sisters-in-law Doris Mueller and Mildred Nelson; brothers-in-law Fred Nelson and Andy Andreachuk.
Dad was born on March 17, 1919 to Mike and Rosa Mueller on the family farm 8 miles south of Wrentham, the 4th of 10 children. In 1945, Dad and Mom bought their farm northwest of Wrentham where they lived till retiring to Lethbridge in 1996. He loved farming, the cattle and was a good horseback rider. He boxed a little, played baseball and curled for many years. He was very community minded. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant a great deal to him. He always enjoyed hearing what they were doing. He will be missed by all of us.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the MARTIN BROS. RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Jim Chapman, officiating.
